Update June 11, 2025:I have been buying these pads for years now, and I’ve been very happy with them. However, this last shipment I received contained noticeably thinner pads than the usual. They just feel really flimsy, as opposed to the stiffer, thicker pads from all the other shipments. This company has been cutting corners for a while now, changing the shipment from a box to a bag, which is OK. But making the pads thinner? Not acceptable. I’ve left my previous review here below. I did take off one star for the change in quality.Previous review:These pads work very well! I do not recommend letting it get soaked all the way through. It's good for about two or three uses. My Pomeranians don't like using pads that look dirty. Lol. They are very clean little creatures. The pads are great for everyday use, or for those days when you don't want to take them out, because of inclement weather. It's also handy for when they wake up in the middle of the night, and they want to go.Update: I have been using these puppy pads for my dogs for years now, and I continue to be a repeat customer. My dogs use them anytime it’s raining, and they can’t go out, or just at night, when they suddenly feel the urge… These pads are sturdy and very clean. For extra protection, I use them in a litter pan lined with newspaper, to avoid side wetting. They are the best!Update July 9, 2025:I purchased another bag of these training pads, and although they are still not as thick and absorbent as the earlier versions, this batch was slightly more absorbent than the previous batch. Some of the moisture leaks through the bottom, for some reason. Still, this remains the best value on Amazon. So I’m adding another star again.

My dog is getting older, and arthritis makes it hard for her to go outside during bad weather. These grass-pattern pee pads are a true blessing. They’re super absorbent—no odors, no mess, and no stress. I ordered the 400-count box thinking it might be overkill, but honestly, I’m glad I did. We go through them quickly, and the bulk price is fantastic—much lower than what I’ve seen on Amazon. Plus, the delivery was fast and secure. The design actually encourages my dog to use it, which is a huge bonus. I’ve already recommended it to my neighbor who also has a senior dog. This is a 10/10 product for sure.

These training pads are good. absorbs well they don't leak and they have a good size. worth it!

This wee wee pad is very absorbent - even after several pee pees the pad absorbs and doesn't allow the pee to spread outside the pad. We usually get larger pads so I think this one is small but to compensate for the size I have been using two pads which ends up being just fine. As far the the value, it is a bit more expensive than others but not too bad. Overall I like the pads.

My Chihuahua mix had knee surgery and needed a reliable indoor potty solution. These pads were perfect. The texture and grass pattern make it intuitive for her to use. What really amazed me was the absorbency—they lock in moisture without spreading or leaking. We’ve used other brands, but nothing compares. I purchased a full box of 400 and couldn’t believe the price—much better than Amazon or pet stores. It’s enough to last us months and saves a ton of hassle. It also makes training much easier. These pads are sturdy, clean, and don’t bunch up. If your dog has any mobility issues or you just want a clean indoor solution, look no further. So glad I found these!

HONEYCARE Dog Training Pads with Grassfield & Fire Hydrant are a fun way to deal with a side effect of life. The colors are bright and attractive on the top of the pad. They fold open easily and stay where you place them. I honestly use these in my Guinea pig cage. This animal has to pee every 15 minutes! She also likes to chew on the pads. They have been in place for a few days and the odor is under control. I feel this is a quality product and intend to purchase it again.

These potty pads absorb well. They are a little smaller than I would like, so definitely for a puppy or smaller dog. I would like for the sticky strips to be in the back, but you get more of these than the others in one pack so I can't really complain.

As you can see by my picture my husband likes to cover every square inch of floor with them 🤣 The smaller but more quantity is better we have found than getting the larger less quantity packs…..

I ordered these hoping my little guy would be tricked by the fire hydrant rather than waiting hours to go outside if we're not home. His sister has no qualms about using the pad, which probably reminds her of our blankets that she used as potty pads when she first came home. This also makes a nice option for when it's too stormy out for a skittish dog to go outside. The pads even fit both potty pad holders we'd gotten when they were pups. The closest thing to a negative is that these are harder to tell at a glance that they've been used, but we're not complaining.

My dog used this pee pad right away, right in the middle. The pee soaked in quickly and never rolled off or leaked through!! It was relatively dry on top too. Here's something I hadn't thought of though... my dog scratched really hard with both front paws at his pee spot. Would the pad shred? Would soaked pad bits go all over? No it did not shred! The top layer did not open up, thank goodness!

Then for the sake of experimenting, I poured on a half-cup of water all at once. That's quite a bit of liquid. But it soaked in before anything could roll off. Nice!

100 pads is a lot of pads. Just so you get a better idea of the amount, I weighed the bag and it's NINE POUNDS of pee pads!!!! These are substantial pads made to do their job really well.

I never thought I’d say this about a dog pee pad, but this one is AMAZING. I got these for my older Pomeranian who recently had surgery and can’t go out for potty breaks. The pads absorb incredibly well and never leak, even overnight. The grass print also encourages her to go in the right spot—genius! I bought the big box, and it’s such a good deal compared to what I used to spend on Amazon. I actually feel like I’m saving money while getting better quality. They arrived fast, neatly packed, and ready to use. This has made indoor potty training a thousand times easier. Totally worth it!

These pads are going to be a good choice for puppies and smaller dogs.
We have an elderly chihuahua who is becoming less reliable about going outside to relive herself.
She is, however, suspiciously good about using these pads to piddle.
Whether that is because these pads really do attract dogs or because she has simply decided she like the convenience of peeing in her room we cannot say.

What I can say is these have saved us from doing mountains of laundry in the form of towel, rags, and blankies, as well as sparing us a lot of rug/floor cleaning.
Now, I just put one of these beside her bed and another on half of her bed.
The pads themselves absorb fluid quickly and hold quite a lot.
We have also not experienced any problems with odor; though we do not let the pads linger, removing them as soon as we see they are moved.

The other nice thing about these is that the quilted pattern prevents the absorbent material from bunching up, even when our little lady scratches at them, which she does like to do.

Of course, the rambunctiousness of your puppy/dog will impact how well the pad stays put.
If you are dealing with a puppy that likes to run and play, you might need to come up with a system for tacking the pad down, so it does not get pushed out of place or folded over.

In the end, these are going to be a great fit for puppies and toy size dogs, making clean up of accidents a lot faster and neater than trying to clean up after the fact.
